STLR - wins 5 hour Truggy Endurance Race

I am very proud to announce that STLR (Sprucewood Team Losi Racing) had everything come together at the last race of our outdoor season in Canada this past weekend, where we took over the lead at the three hour mark and never looked back. Hardcore RC held this race that featured chassis by almost every MFG, however it was the Losi 8ight 2.0 Truggy that went the distance (winning by apx. 14 laps). In fact the strength of the Losi showed where by we ran wire to wire without one single factory part breaking or wearing out!

The team of Yachnin, Stiliadis, Rogers and McLean came together to both prep the Truggy and then keep it together by driving smart, clean and fast. We ran the new VTR Caliber M3 compound Pre-Glued (they went the entire distance). Morgan Fuel and Hobbycraft provided the race fuel and we had not one flameout! "Sticker Boy" Fastlane Graphics provided the wraps that still look brand new and we were wearing from one of our newer sponsors Fox Racing "Polar Paws" to keep our hands warm while driving for such long stints.

This was our first big Endurance win and with that we wanted to send out a special thank you to all our sponsors and everyone that help us get to this point!

Sprucewood 2010 - August 27, 28 & 29!

Well the dates are filling up fast for next summer so I thought I better get my date out to the racing public before someone else takes it.

After a 2 year break "Sprucewood" is back!!

This race will be donating all proceeds to help the "Lions Club" in their drive to get a seeing eye dog for a young girl who is slowly going blind. The race will generate the money to purchase a dog and all the training required to have the dog work with the little girl. So lets all join together and mark this race on your calendar so we can all come together and race for a great cause.
